Vadim Shpak

Director: Europe and Asia, Helena Special Investments

Vadim is a venture capital executive with over three decades of entrepreneurial and investment experience, specializing in deep-tech, life sciences, fintech, and other transformative sectors. 

He has successfully raised capital from institutional investors across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, securing commitments from pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices for multiple venture capital funds and growth-stage companies.

Vadim was previously with Vickers Venture Partners, one of Asia’s leading deep-tech and life sciences venture capital firms, where he spent more than eight years leading global fundraising and investor relations. During his tenure, he helped expand the firm’s LP base across multiple geographies and supported portfolio companies in scaling internationally through strategic capital and partnerships.

Beyond investing, Vadim is committed to developing the next generation of entrepreneurs and investors. He teaches venture capital at Singapore Management University, mentors founders through leading accelerator programs, and serves as a judge for major startup competitions, including the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition.

Holding an MBA from Cass Business School in London, Vadim brings a practical, results-driven approach to venture capital, combining deep operational insight with a global investor network to accelerate innovation and long-term growth.
