Tyler Burns

Tyler is a native Californian based in Berlin, Germany. He is the founder and CEO of Burns Life Sciences Consulting GmbH, where he interfaces with both academia and industry worldwide. His current work sits at the intersection between the life sciences and artificial intelligence. He is applying this work to both bioinformatics and biosecurity, in order to realize the upsides while mitigating risk at the AI-bio nexus.

Tyler holds a PhD in Cancer Biology and a BA in Human Biology, both from Stanford University. In his spare time, Tyler lifts weights, dabbles in martial arts, and reads widely.
