Marie Burns

Marie is a scientist, science communicator and educator, holding an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and a PhD in immunology. Leveraging her experience in biology and communication, she develops formats and frameworks aimed at improving public science and health literacy and discussing the profound impact of research and biotechnological innovation on society.

Living in Berlin with her husband and their dog, Marie likes to spend her spare time going on long hikes, doing Pilates and reading classic literature.
