Karam Hirji

Karam oversees several operational workstreams including fund operations, investor relations, legal and compliance, portfolio management, human capital management and financial overview.

Prior to joining Helena, Karam worked in various industries including manufacturing and telecoms, including as COO/CFO of a plastics alternative solution business. He also currently sits as a Director of Africa’s largest plastics recycler.

Karam lives in London with his young family. He graduated with an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol and qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the ICAEW.
