Peter Stern

Peter is one of the world’s leading business model innovators, operating at the intersection of hardware, software, and services.
Peter is President and CEO of Peloton, where he is committed to empowering people to live fit, strong, long, and happy. Peloton is the leader in connected fitness, with over six million members worldwide.
Before joining Peloton, Peter was the President of Integrated Services at Ford Motor Company, where he led businesses like BlueCruise autonomous driving and created the Ford Connectivity and Security Packages.
Prior to that, Peter spent a number of years as VP of Services at Apple, where he oversaw (and in many cases launched) businesses including Apple TV+, iCloud, Apple News+, Apple Books, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, and Apple One. For awhile, he also led marketing for Apple Services and the App Store, and oversaw Apple Ads.
Before joining Apple, Peter was Chief Product, People and Strategy Officer at Time Warner Cable, where he invented “TV Everywhere” and was awarded over 30 patents.
He started his career at McKinsey & Co., where he was an Associate Principal and a young leader in the Firm’s Technology and Media practices.
Peter has a law degree from Yale, where he was an editor of the Law Journal and wrote a book on prisoners’ rights. His undergraduate degree from Harvard was in a dual major of Music and English. He is an accomplished classical pianist.
