
Paul Meegan is a seasoned investor, entrepreneur, and games-industry executive, and the CEO of Mission 42, an education technology startup helping kids maximize their potential and live a life of meaning.
Previously, Paul served as President of Epic Games from 2012 to 2019, guiding the company through a period of unprecedented growth and innovation with the development and launch of Fortnite Battle Royale. Under his leadership, Fortnite became a global phenomenon, generating billions in revenue and reshaping the gaming landscape.
Paul’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1997 when he founded his own game studio, later acquired by Ubisoft. This led to senior production roles at Ubisoft Montreal and Shanghai, where he contributed to iconic franchises including Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, and Rainbow Six. In 2006, Paul launched Epic Games China as CEO, establishing the Unreal Engine licensing business in the region. He later returned to the U.S. to lead LucasArts as President and General Manager before rejoining Epic Games in 2012.
Today, Paul is focused on using the motivational strategies honed during the rise of Fortnite to inspire a new generation of learners and empower them to reach their full potential.
