Arian Foster

Philosopher, Poet, and NFL Rushing Champion.

Arian Foster was named “The most interesting man in the NFL,” by the Sporting News and hailed as “The NFL’s Renaissance Man,” by CBS This Morning.

 

Foster was the NFL’s rushing champion in 2010, a four-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All-Pro star running back for the Houston Texans, where he was the team’s all-time leading running back.

 

He is a philanthropist, philosopher, poet, actor and investor, whose unique personality, drive, and humility continues to inspire.

During his illustrious playing career, Arian claimed the Texans franchise records for most career rushing yards, most career rushing touchdowns, most rushing yards in a single season and most rushing touchdowns in a single season. After beginning his career as an undrafted free agent, Foster was the first player in NFL history to have 100+ rushing yards in his first three postseason games, and won the NFL rushing title in only his second season in the league.

Philanthropy is the foundation of Arian’s life. In 2015, he founded the Arian Foster Family Foundation, a foundation focused on childhood obesity, improving financial literacy and personal development of inner-city youth. He is also an activist for social injustice, the rights of NCAA Student-Athletes, and religious freedom. Foster is also an award-winning Poet; his work Where We Dwell was made into an acclaimed cinematic short film. Foster is also a rising actor, appearing in the blockbuster film “Draft Day.”
