Alex Wirth

Alex Wirth is a Cofounder of Quorum, an online legislative strategy platform that enables anyone to influence the legislative process with modern tracking, targeting, and outreach tools.

 

The online platform tracks legislation and dialogue in Washington and all 50 states, leverages quantitative analytics to help users identify potential champions, and enables advocates to easily contact legislators and their staff.

Named one of the top D.C. startups to watch in 2016, Quorum has been called the “Google for Congress” by the Huffington Post and described as the “Moneyball Effect on K Street” by the Washington Post. Quorum is used by numerous congressional offices and organizations like EtsyGeneral MotorsLeague of Conservation VotersHolland and KnightToyota, and The United Nations Foundation.

Alex has interned in the Office of the Chief of Staff at the White House, Senator Jeff Bingaman’s (D-NM) office, and was a U.S. Senate Page. In March of 2012, Alex was appointed by Secretary Clinton as the youngest member in history to the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO, a federal advisory committee to the State Department.

Alex is a member of the Board of Directors of the Forum for Youth Investment and has previously served on the youth councils of DoSomething.orgYouth Service AmericaState Farm Insurance, and the Democratic National Committee. Alex has spoken at the United Nations, the Clinton Global Initiative, the World Forum for DemocracyTedxFoggy Bottom, and the UNFPA Parliamentarians Conference.

Alex graduated from Harvard with a degree in Government and Economics.
