Summary

This book is a masterful compilation of every annual Berkshire Hathaway letter, written by Warren Buffet (with a few pages of Charlie Munger’s genius interspersed). The compilation goes by topic, with everything from Buffet’s thoughts on the downfalls of standardize accounting practices, to his views on government regulation, capital gains taxation, HR and hiring, general principles of finance, his views on using leverage in private equity, and of course a deep sequential history of Berkshire, from his works, and written in context during many of the formidable years of the enterprise. I loved it — it takes discipline to read, but the book is an exceptional part of a foundation on value investing and Buffet’s philosophy.
