Rules for the Direction of the Mind

I had been meaning to finally read this, after seeing it referenced so heavily throughout other philosophical readings and in academia. It’s an interesting reminder to see Descartes champion important elements of first-principal and dispassionate thinking, even though in some cases he famously misapplies it (mostly in his philosophy of the mind). It doesn’t take away from his importance, however.
