Rebecca Vangelos is the Chief of Staff at Helena. Her day to day includes a little bit of project management, a little bit of strategy, and a whole lot of organizing. She is dedicated to creating a more socially and politically conscious generation.
Prior to joining Helena, Rebecca worked for political campaigns, committees, and strategic communications firms including positions with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, SKDKnickerbocker, and on Secretary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Rebecca received her BA in International Relations and Global Business, with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California (fight on!). Alongside Professor Steven Lamy, she conducted research on international relations theorists and the implications of their theoretical frameworks on real-world events and leaders. Eager to further engage with her studies, she held a leadership role with Global Brigades at USC’s Marshall School of Business, which brought business consulting to under-resourced micro-enterprises in Central America. She is a member of Delta Gamma fraternity, where she helped fundraise for the Los Angeles Blind Children’s Center and managed the chapter’s annual recruitment.
Today, you’ll find Rebecca whipping up new recipes (follow her on Insta @chefboyarbex), running (literally) around town, and seeing three concerts a week.
